Description

You will lead a high-impact engineering team responsible for Relay's core services, spending about 50% of your time coding while providing mentorship and technical leadership. You will drive architecture, champion AI-native development, and ensure delivery of secure, compliant systems.

Requirements

• 8+ years software development building large-scale SaaS production systems
• 3+ years in technical leadership/architect role with team oversight
• Full-stack development experience (frontend and backend)
• Demonstrated success delivering greenfield projects and enhancements
• Strong system design and architecture skills; expert in AWS, TypeScript, Node.js, Angular, React, Python, Terraform

Responsibilities

• Drive architecture and engineering standards for secure, compliant full-stack systems
• Lead greenfield builds and evolution of existing solutions (HITRUST r2, SOC2, HIPAA, TCPA compliant)
• Build and optimize distributed, message-based workflows for reliability and performance
• Coach engineers, mentor, and contribute to hiring and team performance
• Own predictable delivery, incident leadership, and operational readiness
