💼 About This Role

You'll work with classroom instructors to provide targeted teaching and support to students in a small self-contained classroom setting. Your core impact will be managing behaviors and maintaining a safe learning environment. This role offers direct hire with the school and follows a school calendar with no annual contract.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Substitute teach and act as a paraprofessional as needed
• Manage classroom behaviors and implement behavioral program policies
• Provide general supervision of students inside the school setting
• Respond to emergency situations and assist in behavior intervention

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Education, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Sociology, Social Work, Health & Human Services, Kinesiology, or Sports/Physical Education/Recreation
• Substitute Teacher Certificate required
• At least 23 years of age
• Able to work with high-risk special needs students
