You will shape and execute the company's revenue sustainment and growth strategy, leading the full business development lifecycle from market strategy to deal execution. Partner closely with engineering and finance to align commercial decisions with technical excellence and drive impactful outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in technical or business field (Engineering, Business, Finance, Mathematics)
- 10+ years business development and sales experience in highly regulated industry (aerospace, defense, medical, energy)
- Proven experience closing $1M-$10M+ complex engineering or R&D deals
- Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing sales and capture teams with accountability for results
- Deep expertise in consultative and strategic selling methodologies
Responsibilities
- Define and execute business development strategy for large, multi-year engineering engagements
- Implement and improve deal qualification framework and capture processes
- Partner with engineering and finance to shape offerings and pricing models
- Lead, negotiate, and close high-complexity opportunities end-to-end
- Build, train, and mentor a high-performing business development team
