💼 About This Role

You'll operate a seam welding machine in a steel plant, performing night shift duties and daily preventative maintenance. This role is key to ensuring high-quality welded poles for DIS-TRAN Steel's team.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Weld using submerged arc welding machine
• Perform visual inspection of machinery prior to operation
• Load and unload shells using overhead crane
• Adjust welding machine settings based on material thickness

📋 Requirements

• Ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to interpret blueprints
• Pass Welder I certification test
• Ability to read and interpret typed reports and schedules

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience with moving machinery like cranes
