You will shape the future of MongoDB's developer ecosystem, driving velocity and efficiency for hundreds of engineers. Partner with leadership to implement data-informed optimizations and champion best practices in a collaborative, inclusive environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years in developer productivity domain building complex systems
• Strong experience with C++, Java, Go, Python, Rust, Node, or TypeScript
• Deep understanding of DevOps culture and tooling
• Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment models, and safe rollouts
• Hands-on experience with metrics, observability, and data processing (e.g., Iceberg, Trino, Kafka)

Responsibilities

• Drive operational excellence for internal developer tools and services, defining golden paths to optimize efficiency and velocity
• Design software development systems to ensure best practices and industry standards
• Advise engineering partners on system design implications for complexity, testability, and maintainability
• Lead large projects to improve developer productivity and software quality with data-driven insights
• Provide technical mentorship and leadership to the Developer Productivity organization
