💼 About This Role

You'll lead safety-critical software development for experimental airships at an aerospace startup. You'll own requirements, design, implementation, and testing through all phases from concept to flight. This role offers hands-on leadership and the chance to rapidly prototype innovative flight systems.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Capture and finalize software requirements with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Design and maintain architecture of safety-critical software.
• Develop comprehensive test sets for validation and verification.
• Lead root cause analysis and software releases.

📋 Requirements

• BS/MS in CS, CE, or related field.
• 7/5 years of senior software engineering experience.
• Real-Time OS and embedded systems proficiency.
• Proficient in C#, C++, RTOS, Python, and scripting.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with DO-178C or equivalent standards.
• Experience with EE hardware interfaces (MCU, sensors, actuators).
• Experience with C/embedded C and PLC/HMI.
