💼 About This Role

You'll manage day-to-day HR operations and support a fast-growing defense startup's employee experience. You'll own HR workflows, benefits administration, and compliance tracking while partnering with the HR team to enhance systems and processes. This role offers the chance to help scale HR operations in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Serve as primary point of contact for daily HR inquiries and employee support.
• Maintain accurate data in Rippling (HRIS, payroll, and benefits).
• Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, and employee changes.
• Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment, and vendor coordination.
• Track and coordinate leaves of absence, accommodations, and employment verifications.

📋 Requirements

• 3-5 years of progressive HR generalist or coordinator experience.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR best practices.
• Demonstrated experience supporting HR operations such as onboarding, benefits, and compliance.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems for transactions, workflows, and audits.
