Description

You will lead communications strategy in Germany and oversee the DACH region and select Central and Eastern European markets, creating industry-leading strategies and campaigns that align with local business goals and global comms priorities. You will manage a team of four, work with agency partners, and collaborate closely with the Country Manager for DACH and CEE, spanning corporate, policy, and consumer communications.

Requirements

• 12-15+ years of experience within high performing international organizations
• Team leader with record of leading high performing comms teams and cross-functional teams
• Proven history of innovative thinking and turning it into executable plans and campaigns
• Experience operating in a high performing cross functional team as counsel on comms matters
• Strong track record of developing inspiring goals for team members
• Forward thinking, innovative and creative
• Excellent problem solver with ability to anticipate future issues
• German native speaker with fluent business English
• Working knowledge of other languages within the region desirable

Responsibilities

• Create, manage and drive the execution of the overarching communications strategy and plan
• Direct and oversee the development and execution of market plans for Corporate, Policy, and Consumer Communications
• Develop inspiring and compelling comms strategies to challenge the team and the business
• Provide strategic comms advice and counsel to cross-functional teams
