💼 About This Role

You'll build internal products and automation that help Handshake's operators run the business at high quality and speed. You'll partner directly with operators to deliver pragmatic solutions that remove friction and enable new capabilities. This role requires strong technical fundamentals and high EQ to translate ambiguous operational needs into reliable systems.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Embed with operators to understand processes and pain points and translate into technical requirements.
• Architect and build internal tools, automations, and workflows to improve throughput and accuracy.
• Lead projects end-to-end from discovery to rollout and iteration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to drive adoption and measurable impact.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder management.
• Experience building internal tools or automation for operations-heavy teams.
• Strong engineering judgment to design scalable systems.

• Experience with workflow/backlog systems and operational analytics.
• Comfort operating in a player-coach environment.
