💼 About This Role

You'll act as a hands-on legal advisor to teams across Fig on commercial, privacy, product, and regulatory matters. You'll negotiate key vendor agreements one day and advise on product launches the next. This role offers direct impact in a fast-growing fintech startup.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including SaaS and vendor contracts
• Provide legal advice on consumer lending, privacy, disclosures, and digital services
• Advise on privacy and data matters including data use and privacy-by-design
• Advise on responsible use of AI and emerging technologies

📋 Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of legal experience in financial services or regulated industry
• Strong commercial contracting experience with minimal supervision
• Member in good standing of a provincial bar in Canada
• Full professional proficiency in French and English
