Description

You will design, build, and commission control systems and mechanical hardware for large-scale test facilities at a renewable energy company. You'll collaborate across disciplines, from CAD and electrical schematics to panel fabrication and commissioning, ensuring safe and reliable test infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field or equivalent experience
• 6+ years experience with industrial controls and electromechanical systems
• Proficiency in PLC programming and parametric 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks, Creo, or NX)
• Experience designing electrical control panels and creating schematics
• Hands-on experience with electronics tools and fabrication equipment

Responsibilities

• Design and fabricate electrical control panels, enclosures, and wiring harnesses for test systems
• Create electrical schematics, P&IDs, interconnect drawings, and panel layouts
• Program and commission PLCs, configure VFDs, and design HMI systems
• Design mechanical hardware and fixtures using 3D CAD, create fabrication drawings
• Perform electrical troubleshooting, system integration debugging, and hardware issue resolution
