You'll be the architectural backbone of an AI-native Data Platform, designing self-service frameworks and high-performance engines. Your core impact will be ensuring the Databricks Lakehouse scales efficiently across hundreds of services. This role bridges strategic leadership and technical execution in a remote-first global company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design internal SDKs and self-service frameworks for data ingestion
• Optimize Spark execution plans and Databricks costs
• Enforce schema-on-write validation and data contracts
• Lead AI-assisted development and mentor engineers

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years building production-grade data systems at scale
• Deep mastery of Databricks ecosystem
• Proven experience with streaming architectures (Spark Structured Streaming, Kafka, or Kinesis)
• Experience building internal platforms, APIs, or frameworks
