💼 About This Role

You'll design and scale in-house final assembly lines for aircraft, zips, docks, and sub-assemblies at Zipline, the world's largest drone delivery service. Your core impact is ensuring lines can meet demand from tens to hundreds of units per week while driving down cost and elevating quality. This role stands out for building a new line for a complex electro-mechanical sub-assembly from prototype to full-scale production.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Lead planning, budgeting, design, and commissioning of assembly lines.
• Drive design-for-manufacturability improvements with design engineers.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering for complex electro-mechanical systems.
• Proven track record scaling lines from prototype to full-scale production.
• Experience with PFMEA, capability studies, and first article inspections.
• Strong skills in tooling and fixture development from concept to validation.
