💼 About This Role

You'll join Bluelight, a growing software consultancy, designing and building ETL data engineering processes using Azure Synapse Analytics. Your work will directly impact client projects, ensuring efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading. This remote role offers a collaborative environment with opportunities for continuous learning.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain ETL processes using Python (PySpark) in Azure Synapse.
• Design and build data warehouse structures in MPP SQL Pool.
• Extract data from REST APIs, SQL databases, and CSV files.
• Optimize data notebooks and pipelines for performance and scalability.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience in ETL data engineering with Python (PySpark).
• Proficiency in Azure Synapse Analytics (Notebooks, Pipelines, Linked Services, Key Vault).
• Ability to write complex SQL queries and work with SparkSQL and MS SQL.

• Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
