💼 About This Role

You'll design the next generation of pyrolysis technology for a company scaling carbon removal. You'll own mechanical designs from concept through commissioning, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve production goals. This role offers the chance to directly impact climate change with hands-on hardware development.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design mechanical and electromechanical solutions for production pyrolyzers.
• Scale existing R&D pyrolyzer technology to higher throughputs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical system malfunctions and performance gaps.
• Develop and execute test plans and commissioning campaigns.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5-8 years of mechanical engineering experience.
• CAD proficiency (OnShape).
• Experience with DFMA and FMEA.

✨ Nice to Have

• MS degree in related field.
• Experience with GD&T and fabrication techniques.
• Hands-on mechanical troubleshooting and assembly.
