💼 About This Role

You'll design and commission automation and controls systems for manufacturing and product testing at a startup redefining water autonomy. You'll also help define the company's controls strategy and architect scalable factory systems as they grow.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and commission automated equipment and test systems
• Write and debug PLC and controls code for manufacturing
• Implement compliant safety systems for automated equipment
• Generate HMI screens, electrical designs, and documentation

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or related technical discipline
• 5+ years in industrial automation or controls system design
• Experience with PLC programming (Beckhoff, Rockwell, Siemens, etc.)
• Ability to work 100% onsite in Torrance, CA

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with electromechanical systems and automated test stands
• Knowledge of fieldbus networks and industrial protocols
• Startup or high-rate manufacturing experience
