Description
You will contribute to implant electronics board design, integration with custom chips, testing, and quality control. You'll work on all phases of board design, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help develop systems for brain-computer interfaces.
Requirements
- Strong electrical engineering fundamentals
- Experience designing PCBs for low power and size-constrained applications
- Proficiency in PCB CAD tools (Altium, Eagle, KiCad, Allegro)
- Experience with sensors, power management, and signal/power integrity
- Comfortable with communication protocols (SPI, UART, I2C) and lab equipment
Responsibilities
- Design and develop implant electronics boards from schematics to bring-up
- Collaborate with chip, firmware, mechanical, and microfabrication teams for system integration
- Contribute to R&D investigations and experiments for new technology feasibility
- Improve system latency, battery life, reliability, and safety
- Design and deploy systems for implant-charger hardware-in-the-loop testing and manufacturing quality control
