💼 About This Role

You'll support the Overdose Data to Action program by connecting individuals with substance use disorder to recovery services and community resources. You'll use lived experience to provide peer support and promote sustained recovery. This role is part of a dynamic public health initiative in Georgia.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Meet with individuals in various settings to assess recovery needs.
  • Use motivational interviewing to support behavior change readiness.
  • Coordinate warm handoffs to appropriate care and support services.
  • Build networks with community providers to expand recovery resources.

📋 Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of current, continuous recovery from substance use disorder.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Knowledge of multiple pathways to recovery and problem-solving strategies.
  • Ability to work both independently and in teams.

✨ Nice to Have

  • Peer and recovery community certification(s) preferred.
  • Experience with motivational interviewing techniques.
  • Familiarity with data collection and documentation processes.
