Description

You will oversee the operation, maintenance, and implementation of audio systems within Sphere's venue, collaborating with internal teams and external productions to ensure successful shows. You'll manage audio crews, troubleshoot issues, and drive system improvements.

Requirements

• 10+ years experience in audio design, technology, and engineering for film, TV, live events, or themed entertainment
• Technical knowledge of audio products and systems
• Experience managing audio crews and budgets
• Ability to troubleshoot and adapt in fast-paced environments
• Supervisory experience with Audio Managers, Technicians, and Programmers

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute SOPs for operating, programming, and maintaining Sphere's audio systems
• Coordinate with production managers to schedule and manage IATSE stagehand audio crews
• Collaborate with MSG Ventures Audio and visiting production crews for technical advances
• Manage installation, rental, and maintenance of audio equipment
• Oversee audio system operation during events and act as Technical Manager on Duty
