You'll derive motion control requirements for the Waymo Driver to ensure safety and reliability across multiple platforms. You'll build analysis tools and influence system design decisions while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Derive reliability and motion control requirements for autonomous driving software
• Sign off hardware/software subsystems by updating requirements and assessing risks
• Build analysis tools for large-scale datasets using dashboards and scripts
• Define performance metrics and influence system design decisions

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of Systems Engineering experience designing or testing autonomous systems
• Direct experience developing requirements across multiple products or software versions
• Experience levying requirements on control systems, motion planning, or vehicle dynamics
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, or MATLAB for data analysis

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with safety-critical hardware and software components in autonomous vehicles
• Experience analyzing very large datasets (hundreds of thousands of records, high frequency)
• Test engineering experience
