💼 About This Role
You'll fabricate and install electrical harnesses for solar arrays and satellite buses at a fast-growing aerospace startup. Your work will ensure the integrity of power routing through spacecraft, directly enabling commercial satellite platforms that serve earth observation and communications missions.
🎯 What You'll Do
- Fabricate solar array harnesses including wire cutting, stripping, crimping, and termination.
- Install and route harness assemblies on panels and structures with proper strain relief.
- Perform connector backshell assembly and potting per IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.
- Execute continuity, resistance, and hi-pot testing to verify electrical integrity.
- Support solar array system-level electrical checkout including voltage and power tests.
📋 Requirements
- U.S. Person status required.
- 3+ years experience in aerospace or electronics harness fabrication and testing.
- Proficiency in wire crimping using M22520 tooling and connector backshell assembly.
- Working knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 Class 3 harness workmanship standards.

- IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification
- Experience with solar array panels or spacecraft power systems
- Familiarity with NASA-STD-8739.4 crimping and cable installation standards
