💼 About This Role

You'll own the technical vision for Scribe's monetization platform, including billing, pricing infrastructure, entitlements, and provisioning. Your work will directly shape how 5M+ users and 600K+ organizations are billed and served. This role offers company-level ownership of mission-critical systems that drive revenue.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define technical vision for billing, pricing, and entitlements architecture
• Lead high-stakes design decisions and mentor junior engineers
• Design systems to launch new pricing models without re-architecting
• Own entitlements and access control linking billing state to product access

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience
• Experience owning monetization or billing platform strategy
• Experience with revenue-critical systems where correctness impacts revenue
• Strong backend engineering fundamentals with Python and Django

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience designing entitlements or access control at scale
• Experience with SaaS financial close or revenue recognition
• Exposure to revenue operations tooling like Salesforce CPQ
