Description

As a Test Engineer I on the Operations Engineering team, you will develop and execute function tests for Markforged hardware products, using telemetry and manufacturing data to ensure devices meet quality standards. You'll support contract manufacturers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive test success and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 0-2 years in product-based electromechanical assemblies in a hands-on engineering and manufacturing environment
• Experience with custom testing fixtures and troubleshooting electromechanical issues on production line
• Ability to read electrical schematics and understand CAD 2D/3D
• Experience creating test plans and procedures for complex assemblies or system-level testing
• Willingness to travel 15% domestic/international

Responsibilities

• Support development, generation, and validation of calibration and system-level testing of hardware and software
• Utilize real-world data to design systems for validation of electro-mechanical assemblies and system performance
• Support automated test creation and validation for sustaining and new product introductions
• Work cross-functionally to ensure design for test best practices on existing and new products
• Support existing product lines at contract manufacturers and continuous improvement projects
