You'll build production-grade AI agents for autonomous marketing at ActiveCampaign, working at the intersection of software engineering and applied AI. You'll design, build, evaluate, and operate agents that run at scale, ensuring reliability, observability, and performance. This role offers a front-row seat in an AI-first transformation with close collaboration across multiple engineering teams.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and build production-grade AI agents and autonomous marketing workflows
• Implement multi-step agentic flows with LLM orchestration and tool use
• Build and run agent evaluations, defining quality metrics and measuring accuracy
• Monitor and optimize agent performance, latency, cost, and error rates

📋 Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in a software engineering role
• Hands-on experience building and running AI agents in production
• Experience with agent evaluation and performance optimization
• Solid backend development skills in Python

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with agentic AI frameworks or multi-agent patterns
• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol or tool-use patterns
• Frontend experience with React or Ember
