💼 About This Role

You'll design and evolve resilient, cloud-distributed systems for Winton, a quantitative investment management firm. Your work will directly enable post-trade and reporting software used across the business. You'll leverage modern AI-assisted tooling while maintaining a pragmatic balance between innovation and delivery.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and maintain distributed, event-driven systems with high reliability and scalability
• Contribute to technical strategy and long-term platform direction
• Write high-quality code with automated tests and documentation across UI, services, and data storage
• Ensure systems are operable, measurable, and resilient with monitoring and failure-handling strategies

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a STEM subject
• 5+ years of full-time professional software development experience
• Experience building cloud-distributed, event-driven or microservices-based systems with C#/.NET
• Strong computer science fundamentals and engineering discipline

✨ Nice to Have

• Interest or experience with Angular and TypeScript
• Familiarity with performance-tuning PostgreSQL and/or MSSQL
• Experience in financial services
