💼 About This Role

You'll design and support outside plant telecommunications infrastructure for fiber and copper networks. Your core impact is ensuring designs meet company standards, industry regulations, and project budgets. This role contributes to the reliability and expansion of telecom networks.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design aerial, buried, and conduit cable networks
• Develop engineering designs for poles and conduit routes
• Prepare permit packages for local jurisdictions
• Track project budgets and compare costs
• Conduct field data collection and inspections

📋 Requirements

• Experience designing OSP telecom infrastructure for fiber and copper
• Understanding of right-of-way acquisition and permitting processes
• Familiarity with FTTH, DSL, Metro-E, and SONET technologies
• Proficiency with CAD systems

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with National Electric Safety Code (NESC)
• Field engineering tools like measuring wheel and height stick
• Knowledge of COE/OSP work order procedures
