Description

You will design and build the next generation of autonomous battery-electric rail vehicles, owning mechanical design problems from concept through production while working hands-on with hardware.

Requirements

• Early-career engineer with hands-on hardware experience
• Experience from Formula SAE, Baja SAE, Design/Build/Fly, rocket club, robotics, or similar programs
• Ability to turn ideas into physical parts and improve designs through testing
• Strong theoretical and practical engineering skills

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical components, assemblies, and mechanisms for vehicle systems
• Create and maintain CAD models, engineering drawings, and release packages
• Own mechanical design problems from concept through build, test, and iteration
• Support prototype builds, fit checks, hardware bring-up, and root cause investigations
• Perform engineering analysis including tolerance stack-ups and hand calculations
