💼 About This Role

You'll own hardware designs for Archer's high voltage battery management system, leading BMS PCBAs through their full lifecycle. Your designs will ensure safety and fault tolerance through diagnostic coverage and redundancy, working closely with systems and safety teams. You'll also support production and integration with cross-functional teams to bring the battery pack to life.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead BMS PCBA design from circuit simulation to revision
• Design circuits for diagnostic coverage and fault-tolerance
• Own PCBA bring-up and verification with lab equipment
• Support production manufacturing and design-for-test

📋 Requirements

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 3+ years designing and verifying complex electrical circuits
• Experience with high voltage battery systems and BMS electronics
• Proficient in Altium Designer and circuit simulation tools

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with HV battery systems in aviation and automotive
• Knowledge of DO-160G, ISO 26262, or related standards
• Experience with flexible and rigid board stackups
