💼 About This Role

You'll design, simulate, and test mechanical components and integrate them into complete vehicles. Your work will directly impact a startup revolutionizing boardsports and transportation. This onsite role is based in Santa Cruz, CA, just half a mile from the beach.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design enclosures, housings, mechanisms and electromechanical components.
• Validate, test, and iterate on existing mechanical and electromechanical systems.
• Work with EE team for integration of PCBAs, connectors and wire harnesses.
• Document and prepare drawing packages for internal/external uses.

📋 Requirements

• BS or MS in mechanical engineering.
• Experience with design and documentation for injection molding, casting, sheet metal.
• Excellent CAD (Solidworks) proficiency.
• Hands-on prototyping/machine shop experience.

✨ Nice to Have

• Electromechanical (electric vehicle, mechatronics) background.
• Experience in outdoor industry (bikes, snowboards, skateboards).
• Manufacturing/DFM experience.
