💼 About This Role

You'll join the Applied Field Engineering team to drive Snowflake's cloud data platform as a key component of enterprise data architecture. You'll collaborate with technical leaders and executives, delivering value-based demonstrations and supporting enterprise PoCs. This role stands out for its impact on redefining how enterprises work with data and AI.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical stakeholders
• Collaborate hands-on from demo through PoC, design, and implementation
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape
• Work with product, engineering, and marketing teams for continuous improvement

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years architecture and data engineering experience in enterprise data
• 5+ years in a presales environment (sales engineer, solutions architect)
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, Pandas, Spark, PySpark, Hadoop, Hive
• Deep understanding of ETL/ELT tools (Apache NiFi, Matillion, Fivetran, Qlik, Informatica)

✨ Nice to Have

• Knowledge of streaming technologies (Kafka, Flink, Spark Streaming, Kinesis)
• Experience with Iceberg, Delta, Parquet in data lakehouse architectures
• Master's degree in computer science or related field
