You'll serve as the primary legal advisor for MYOB's financial services and payments products, helping shape modern financial solutions for businesses across Australia and New Zealand. You'll work on high-impact projects at the intersection of financial services, technology, and product innovation, with regular exposure to senior leaders. This role offers the opportunity to influence strategy and navigate a complex regulatory landscape.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Advise on financial services law and regulations including AFSL, ACL, credit, and payments.
• Negotiate financial services and commercial contracts such as partnerships and distribution agreements.
• Collaborate with product and commercial teams on new products, features, and integrations.
• Work with risk and compliance teams on regulatory change, incidents, and audits.

📋 Requirements

• Admitted to practise law in Australia.
• Proven experience in corporate, commercial, or financial services law.
• Strong judgement balancing legal risk with commercial considerations.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders.

• New Zealand admission is a bonus.
