💼 About This Role

You'll own cost management across our data center portfolio, from early-stage budgeting through construction and final account. You'll build benchmarks from scratch and serve as the Cost Lead of our delivery program, working closely with project managers and design teams. This role offers the chance to shape the cost function for a rapidly scaling AI infrastructure company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own cost planning across all project phases from concept to GMP negotiation
• Develop detailed estimates for civil, structural, MEP, power, cooling, and shell construction
• Maintain real-time cost forecasts and track actuals vs. budget across active projects
• Manage change order review assessing scope validity, commercial accuracy, and contract entitlement

📋 Requirements

• Experience with cost management, quantity surveying, or construction estimating
• Hands-on experience on data center or mission-critical construction (hyperscale, colo, or large-scale build-to-suit)
• Deep understanding of DC cost stack: civil, structural, MEP, HV/LV power, cooling, emergency power, and IT fit-out
• Proficient with cost management tooling (Procore, Sage, or equivalent)

✨ Nice to Have

• Owner-side experience strongly preferred
• Familiar with GMP, lump sum, and cost-plus contract structures
• Degree in construction management, quantity surveying, engineering, or related field
