💼 About This Role

You'll lead analysis and testing of autonomous fixed-wing aircraft, working with cross-functional teams. Your core impact is ensuring flight systems are ready for complex operations through benchtop to flight testing. This role spans design, analysis, flight test, and system integration.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Plan and execute performance and GNC flight control law optimization
• Implement flight test plans for component, ground, taxi, and flight operations
• Instrument aircraft with sensors, data acquisition, and telemetry systems
• Analyze post-flight data and provide feedback to design teams

📋 Requirements

• BS/MS in Aerospace Engineering, Controls, or related field
• 7+ years experience in aerospace and flight test engineering
• GNC/ flight control law software experience (PX4, Ardupilot)
• Hands-on fixed-wing aircraft flying or testing experience

✨ Nice to Have

• Experimental flight test program experience at startups or R&D
• FAA Part 107 certification or piloting experience
• Familiarity with HIL/SIL environments
