Description
You will lead paid media strategy and social media management for 2K's AAA franchises in Japan, analyzing data to optimize campaign performance and brand resonance. This role bridges community engagement and performance marketing, requiring close collaboration with regional and global teams.
Requirements
- 3-8 years of relevant experience in SNS marketing, PR, or digital advertising within gaming, entertainment, or consumer tech industries.
- Proven experience in managing paid media/performance marketing campaigns (specifically Paid Social); agency-side gaming client experience a plus.
- Strong ability to interpret complex data sets and translate into actionable recommendations.
- Proactive team player with clear ownership of digital performance.
- Deep understanding of Japanese gaming community and social media landscape.
- Native-level Japanese and Business-level English (written and spoken).
- Self-starter comfortable with data and eager to take initiative in fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead integrated planning, execution, and management of paid media campaigns (Paid Social, YouTube, Search, etc.) to maximize reach and user acquisition for 2K titles in Japan.
- Manage and support 2K Japan’s overall social media strategy, ensuring content is localized and resource-efficient.
- Partner with Social Media Manager to identify high-performing organic content and provide strategic paid boosts.
- Collaborate with agencies to manage monthly calendars, KPIs, and actionable steps.
- Consolidate and analyze data from organic social channels and paid campaigns to evaluate health and growth of 2K’s presence in Japan.
- Generate regular performance reports for local, regional, and global stakeholders, translating market trends into actionable insights.
- Monitor social sentiment and VOC to provide data-backed feedback to global teams.
- Support broader Japan marketing team in executing integrated campaigns, including PR, influencer activations, and local events.
- Assist in managing local agency relationships and creative localization for Japanese audience.
- Collaborate effectively across time zones with Asia regional team and US headquarters.
