Description

You will define the technical vision and architecture for autonomous constellation operations, lead a team of 6-10 engineers, and stay hands-on with coding and architecture reviews. You'll drive the shift from manual processes to automated, self-healing systems.

Requirements

• 7+ years software engineering with 3+ in technical leadership or staff-level IC
• Track record building and shipping reliable production systems at scale
• Experience with SRE principles, reliability engineering, or large-scale automation
• Strong foundation in Python, distributed systems, data platforms, cloud infrastructure
• Experience hiring and developing engineers

Responsibilities

• Define and own technical roadmap for autonomous constellation operations
• Set architectural direction for data platform, reliability, and automation systems
• Stay hands-on: review code, prototype solutions, challenge technical decisions
• Establish engineering standards for code quality, system design, testing, observability
• Recruit, develop, and retain a team of 6-10 reliability and platform engineers
