Description

You will read and interpret schematics, fabricate and install parts, wire electrical ground support equipment, and troubleshoot instrumentation systems for Starship launch operations. This role involves maintaining launch site hardware and collaborating with engineers to resolve issues during launch campaigns.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 5+ years experience as a mechanic, technician, electrician, or construction worker
• Experience with power tools and electronic system assembly
• Knowledge of instrumentation including RTDs, thermocouples, strain gages, and pressure transducers
• Ability to work multiple shifts, travel up to 20%, and perform physical tasks

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret planning documents, schematics, and blueprints
• Adjust, repair, or replace faulty components of ground hardware and test equipment
• Fabricate and install parts and systems using hand tools, power tools, and test instruments
• Connect and verify pressure transducers, thermocouples, and other sensors
• Install connectors, terminals, and lugs; wire electrical ground support equipment
