You'll join the Test Foundation team at Cockroach Labs, focusing on next-generation test automation and bug-finding techniques for CockroachDB. Your work will directly impact the quality of a distributed database used by innovative companies worldwide.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop test strategies and methodologies.
• Build and scale test infrastructure.
• Build tools and frameworks to find bugs in distributed systems.
• Perform at-scale cloud benchmarking.
• Prioritize and execute customer-representative test suites.

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience writing clean code.
• 1+ years hands-on experience with GCP or AWS.
• Experience in Database or Distributed Systems Testing.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent.

✨ Nice to Have

• Static code analysis experience.
• Failure mode analysis experience.
• Experience with randomized or deterministic testing.
