You'll own the full sales compensation cycle for a rapidly growing GTM team at Clay, a high-growth tech company. Your work directly impacts how reps understand and earn their commissions, ensuring fairness and accuracy. This role offers high visibility across Finance and Sales leadership.
🎯 What You'll Do
- Manage monthly crediting runs, quota alignment, and payout calculations
- Lead variable compensation process for new business units
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders on Quote to Cash
- Design compensation plans including OTE, quotas, accelerators, and SPIFs
📋 Requirements
- 5+ years in sales compensation or commissions operations at a high-growth tech company
- Hands-on admin experience with an ICM platform like Xactly, CaptivateIQ, Everstage, or Spiff
- Strong Quote to Cash fluency and Salesforce skills
- Ability to explain crediting disputes to AEs and complex accruals to CFOs
✨ Nice to Have
- Experience with usage-based or consumption billing models
- Familiarity with MonetizeNow, Stripe Billing, or similar platforms
- Prior work at a fast-scaling company where comp plans evolved rapidly
