Description

You will lead a focused group of engineers in waveguide manufacturing, overseeing measurement, calibration, and instrumentation including nanostructure characterization and optical performance testing. You will develop and implement the optical NPI and manufacturing metrology strategy, ensuring alignment with quality standards and business objectives.

• Experienced in metrology and optical test engineering
• Leadership and team management skills
• Deep understanding of quality systems and advanced measurement equipment
• Ability to work cross-functionally with design, process, materials, and integration teams

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Optical NPI and Manufacturing metrology strategy
• Lead a team of metrology and optics professionals, fostering continuous improvement
• Develop best practices for problem solving (8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone)
• Integrate workflows across R&D, Manufacturing, NPI, and Materials teams
• Oversee nanostructure characterization and optical performance testing
