Description

You'll serve as a hands-on technical assessor executing security control assessments for critical information systems supporting USSOUTHCOM. You'll document NIST 800-53 compliance in eMASS, analyze vulnerability scan data, and manage device approval workflows, directly contributing to the security of national defense systems.

Requirements

• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor's degree in computer or systems science (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years progressive Information Assurance experience
• DoD IAM Level II certification
• Strong understanding of RMF and DoD IA policies

Responsibilities

• Execute and document NIST 800-53 security control assessments for A&A packages in eMASS
• Author compliance documentation, gather evidence, and develop security policies
• Analyze vulnerability and compliance scan reports from ACAS and Nessus
• Manage end-to-end approval process for Portable Electronic Devices (PEDs)
• Document control deficiencies and non-compliance, supporting POA&M creation
