You'll lead system safety engineering for advanced aircraft systems at a defense technology company. Your work will directly impact the safety of autonomous military systems. You'll collaborate across teams to implement cutting-edge safety analysis methodologies.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop System Safety program plans per MIL-STD-882E
• Conduct FHA, Fault Tree, SCFTA, and SSA analyses
• Develop safety requirements and implement safety solutions
• Manage hazard tracking databases and risk mitigation

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years experience as a System Safety Engineer or equivalent
• B.S. in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering
• Experience with safety-critical hardware/software systems in defense/aerospace
• Extensive knowledge of MIL-STD-882E and safety standards

✨ Nice to Have

• M.S. degree in relevant engineering
• Experience with ARP-4754, ARP-4761, or other standards
• Experience with Relyence, Teamcenter, JIRA, JAMA, Cameo, Ansys
