💼 About This Role

You'll drive growth in Egen's Public Sector business, focusing on State, Local, and HigherEd accounts. You'll navigate complex procurement landscapes and serve as a trusted advisor for modernization via data, AI, and cloud platforms. This role offers the chance to own the full sales lifecycle and collaborate with Google Cloud and Salesforce.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Own full sales lifecycle from lead qualification to deal closure
  • Develop account strategies and manage P&L for SLED accounts
  • Build C-level relationships across government and education sectors
  • Collaborate with Google Cloud and Salesforce for joint go-to-market
  • Scope service projects and draft Statements of Work

📋 Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years in technology services sales
  • Verifiable track record selling to State and Local government agencies
  • Strong understanding of cloud adoption lifecycles and data architecture
  • Familiarity with government procurement processes and SLED agency needs

✨ Nice to Have

  • Experience with California procurement processes and contract vehicles
  • Experience with California agencies like CalTrans or Health and Human Services
  • Proficiency with Google Cloud for forecasting and financial selling
