Description

You will design and implement new features in the underwriting platform to support merchants and users across multiple interfaces, including Affirm Card, ecommerce sites, and the app. Your work will directly impact Affirm's performance by enabling safe and responsible loan growth.

Requirements

• Previous work or internship experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems at scale
• Experience with Python or Kotlin
• Familiarity with distributed systems, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes
• Ability to write clear, well-tested, extensible code from business scenarios
• Comfort navigating large codebases, debugging, and providing code review feedback
