Description

You will service and repair commercial generators on cell phone towers, performing maintenance, diagnostics, and installations while ensuring safety and reliability of backup power systems. This role is ideal for independent, self-starting technicians who are willing to travel.

Requirements

• Two or more years of generator maintenance experience preferred
• Minimum one year of intense work-related experience with generator and electrical maintenance
• Thorough knowledge of generator installations, maintenance, and repair
• Knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds, stoop, bend, kneel, squat, climb, and stand for long periods

Responsibilities

• Maintain, diagnose, and repair generators
• Install and replace components or entire systems
• Conduct performance checks and regular maintenance
• Respond to power/generator alarms and be on call 24/7 if necessary
• Work safely with awareness of hazards like electric shock and falls
