Tech Stack

Description

You'll be a foundational member of a new team, building a product from scratch. You'll own features end-to-end, working 50/50 on backend (Python) and frontend (React), prototyping rapidly and collaborating with product and senior engineers to define the vision.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software development experience building complex, large-scale applications
• 3+ years of strong, professional Python experience in a production environment building robust APIs
• 3+ years of strong, professional React experience with deep understanding of modern React ecosystem
• Proactive problem-solving mindset with a "gets-it-done" attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Write high-quality, maintainable code for backend (Python) and frontend (React) with a balanced 50/50 split
• Design and ship lightweight backend services and APIs quickly focusing on rapid iteration and MVP delivery
• Collaborate with Staff Engineers and Product Managers to define and refine system architecture
• Own the full lifecycle of features from concept to production including testing
• Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality and system reliability
