You'll design and lead complex changes to payments, orders, and accounting systems at a fast-growing pet care marketplace. You'll influence the long-term technical vision and directly impact the customer experience through high-visibility projects. Work across teams with stakeholders from accounting, finance, tax, product, and design to drive technical decisions.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and lead long-term technical vision and roadmap
• Work across multiple teams in the finance space
• Mentor engineers to grow and advance their careers
• Drive best practices across the finance organization

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years experience as a professional software developer
• Experience with Python
• Experience building scalable distributed systems
• Expertise with relational databases and schema design

• Experience with Stripe, Braintree, or PayPal APIs
• Experience with React or modern JavaScript frameworks
• Experience designing accounting or payment processing systems
