You'll design and build backend services for healthcare interoperability, focusing on FHIR-based APIs and Release of Information workflows. Your work will directly impact patient data access and care workflows. This fully remote role offers high ownership and influence over technical direction in a collaborative engineering culture.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and maintain backend services using FHIR R4 standards.
• Develop interoperability workflows for Release of Information.
• Integrate with EHR systems via RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures.
• Modernize .NET services and support legacy system integrations.

📋 Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, ASP.NET Web API, and SQL Server.
• Experience with FHIR healthcare interoperability standards.
• Hands-on experience with distributed, API-driven systems in production.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with SMART on FHIR and OAuth2.
• Familiarity with major EHR systems (Epic, Meditech, NextGen).
• Knowledge of AWS services (Lambda, SQS, SNS, RDS).
