💼 About This Role

You'll develop and optimize laser ablation and scribing processes for flexible thin-film photovoltaic modules in a roll-to-roll manufacturing environment. Your work will directly impact the production of advanced aerospace solar products. You'll collaborate with R&D to drive continuous improvement on cutting-edge manufacturing equipment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop and optimize laser ablation and scribing processes for thin-film layers.
• Operate and maintain roll-to-roll laser scribing systems.
• Monitor process parameters and equipment performance for web tension and film uniformity.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on web-handling equipment.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing industrial laser processes.
• Hands-on experience with laser equipment alignment and calibration.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Materials Science, or related field.
• Strong understanding of web dynamics including tension control and substrate handling.

✨ Nice to Have

• Knowledge of process control systems (SCADA, PLC).
• Experience with roll-to-roll manufacturing of flexible electronics or photovoltaics.
• Expertise in laser–material interactions across thin-film stacks.
