Description

You will assist the Senior Chief Engineer in directing engineering operations, preplanning preventive maintenance, and supervising maintenance staff. You will also assume Chief Engineer responsibilities when needed, ensuring efficient operation of equipment and systems.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• 5+ years related work experience; supervisory experience preferred
• Operating Engineers license (SMA) or equivalent preferred
• Certification as Universal Technician for CFCs or within 90 days
• Working knowledge of Word and Excel

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct maintenance staff on shift and monitor performance
• Perform and direct maintenance service requests with minimal disruption
• Supervise and implement preventive maintenance program, including scheduling and ordering parts
• Direct contracted maintenance work and ensure safe hazardous materials storage
• Manage inventory of tools and supplies, prepare purchase orders
