Description

As a Staff Software Engineer on the Investments Platforms team, you will design and evolve core platforms for custody, orders, and offers, leading the migration from legacy systems to a globally scalable architecture. You'll own end-to-end technical lifecycle of high-impact projects and collaborate cross-functionally to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Requirements

• Proven track record building and maintaining highly abstracted, extensible platforms in high-growth environment.
• Deep experience designing distributed systems for high-concurrency, mission-critical financial flows.
• Ability to lead technical teams through ambiguity, organizational change, or complex system migrations.
• Prior experience with brokerage systems, asset classes, or financial regulatory environments (nice to have).
• Familiarity with AWS or similar cloud providers and modern CI/CD practices (nice to have).

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve core investment platforms (Custody, Orders, Offers) to be asset-agnostic and globally extensible.
• Lead construction of complex platforms to manage Investments business at scale.
• Own end-to-end technical lifecycle of high-impact projects.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Operations to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Drive cultural and technical revival, influencing peers to adopt best architectural practices.
